Special considerations are needed when it comes to medical conditions and ability to participate in sports. We appreciate that you put your trust in us to ensure that you can participate with optimum performance. Our physician has been involved in physicals as an affiliate team physician with the Atlanta Braves and Washington Nationals. We do many of the physicals for our local universities, Webber International University and Warner University.

We have been proud to volunteer in our local community of Polk County to perform sports pre-participation physicals for athletes in schools such as Lake Wales High School and All Saints Academy.

Get kids moving! It is important at all stages in life for people to get moving safely to improve their health. We applaud Marathon Kids and Nike for getting kids moving in all 50 states.

FAQ

Frequently
Asked Questions

A sports physical is a medical exam that evaluates an athlete’s overall health and physical readiness to safely participate in sports or physical activities.
Sports physicals are commonly required for school sports, youth leagues, college athletics, and recreational programs. They are recommended for athletes of all ages before starting a new season.
The exam typically includes a review of medical history, vital signs, heart and lung evaluation, joint and muscle assessment, flexibility testing, and discussion of past injuries or conditions.
A sports physical focuses specifically on athletic participation and injury risk, while an annual physical provides a more comprehensive review of overall health.
